Medicare GLP-1 Program - Not for All

More information has been released on the New Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program, going into effect July 1st, 2026. This Program is Targeted Specifically to Weight Lose and candidates must meet the criteria to qualify. You will need to work with your Primary Care Doctor for a Prior Authorization Request to initiate qualification.

Savings can be very beneficial, but this program is outside of the Part D Prescription Plans, so the costs do not go toward your Part D Prescription Plan deductible or TROOP total costs.

Most Providers should have information on this Program effective July 1st.
